How To Use Coloplast's Brava Strip Paste for Ostomy Appliances

Directions to use the Brava Strip Paste # 26555 by Coloplast.

Preparation 
Ensure that the skin around the stoma is clean and dry. Hold the turquoise tab and pull back to open. Do not tear the tab as it allows you to re-seal the box.
1. Take out the strip paste. Remove the protective film, and the strip paste is ready for use.

Applying paste to cavities/folds in the skin
2. Place a piece of strip paste in the uneven skin. Mold the paste into the skin. The paste must fill in the whole cavity/fold so that the paste and the skin are flush.
For easier application you may moisten your fingers with water before molding the strip paste. Then apply the ostomy appliance.

Removal
The paste may be removed from the skin at any time. no residue will normally be left on the skin as the paste will be removed from the skin together with the adhesive. 

Disposal
The product should be disposed of together with household waste. Do not flush the product down the toilet.

Store away from direct sunlight in a cool and dry place. Brava 26555 Strip Paste is intended to fill in cavities/folds in the peristomal skin and provide a seal between the stoma and ostomy skin barrier. It is used WITH ostomy pouches and barriers.  It less than a full strip is required, simply tear the needed amount from the strip and put the rest away for later use.
Ingredients: aliphatic hydrocarbon mixture, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, and carbohydrate mixture.
